Sri Aman Bound

Currently on the way back to Sri Aman. Traffic is light so it is going to be a smooth journey.

Having Breakfast

After a tiring trip returning from Kuala Lumpur last night, i woke up quite late thi morning. So since its already late, i decided to have breakfast at Foody Goody first. Its one of the place listed in Malaysia Airline's food destination last two years. Also its next to Kuching Specialist Hospital, the place where Headsteadi will be delivering his baby very soon. I mean Headsteadi's wife...hehe...

Surviving Low Yat

Spending my time at Plaza Low Yat while waiting for my return flight to Kuching was a terrible experience. The stress of watching all those cool and hot gadgets was unbearable. You do wish that you had tonnes of money to buy those latest handphones, cameras, pc, notebooks etc. Why i tortured myself this way i do not know. Its really amazing what this place can offer you. Just when you wish you had that iphone because its a touchscreen wonder, there are others that can match that technology. HTC, Nokia and many more have almost similiar features that sometimes as consumers we have this phobia that these new features would be obsolete soon. Thus when you, as a consumer decides to wait for the price to come down, new features find its way into the market, like GPS features etc. Last time we thought IR or Bluetooth was hot. Anyway i managed to walk of Low Yat unscathed without burning a hole in my wallet.

Caught in KL Jam

On the way to Low Yat Plaza, i m caugt in a jam at Bukit Bintang area. The fact that it started to rain cats and dogs did not help. It reminds me of that Kuching jam yesterday, in my first few post. But the jam here is not as sweet as Kuching jam which is about 10 minutes or 20 minutes in duration. Here its a frustrating one hour with the likelihood that there will be a lightning flood aka banjir kilat to spoil your plans.

In OUG KL

Its about driving along memory lane today as i took the opportunity to stopover at Overseas Union Garden. I spend most of my holidays here during my holidays as an undergraduate. I could not afford the trip back to Sarawak then. Tony Fernadez had not thought of the brilliant Air Asia idea. The shopping complex housing Parkson. Life then was simple. I have sentimental memories of using the buses at Klang Bus Stand to go to and fro KL and OUG.That was life then as this place seem to change a lot.

11 am Meeting Uchukeling

I manage to catch up ith James at the Kuching International Airport VIP Room. He is in Kuching to conduct blogging courses for the VIPs in Sarawak. Though it was a brief meeting we manage to exchange thoughts on Life After 40. We agree that we should not totally stop drinking beer as this will have great impact on the beer industry who are coping to stay afloat during this economic recession. It is best that we consume the drink sparingly so that we can keep the this essential industry alive.

10 am Condolence

I went over to YB Datuk Dublin Unting's house to extend my condolence this morning. Teh YAB Chief Minister was expected to arrive at 10:30 am. I posted my quick visit in the blog.

8 am Jam

Driving in Kuching can be stressful especially if you are a small town driver where the standard speed is 20km per hour. The Kuching jam this morning was quite bad at high desity area. It eases after rush hour. Ah...typical Kuching or typical small town boy complain?

This will enable me to immediately post and update materials live as it happens wherever the signal allows me to. In addition it will also allow me to update my status. It will be linked to my main Nadai Nama Nama blog. A few test posts and test posts will follow after this so bear with Desmotion's experiments.
